Mt. Pleasant Village Harvest Fair Shows True Community Spirit

One of the greatest aspects of what we do as a magazine, is having the opportunity to attend events like the Mt. Pleasant Village Harvest Fair.  Walking down Mt. Pleasant Avenue, you can feel the pride that the residents and Store Owners share for their Community.  From the Pumpkin Carving Contest, to the Apple Pie Contest, judged by Councillor Josh Matlow smiles were all around the streets.   The Petting Zoo was a hit all of the children and we especially enjoyed meeting Paul Rosen Gold Medal Sledge Hockey Champion, Representing the March of Dimes. So many stores were fully into the Spirit of the Harvest Fair, including Lacavore Store Cullinarium who hosted a hay filled harvest BBQ behind her store, Live music outside of the Royal Bank and Face Painting along the street.  Dancing, singing, and eating form the great Fall Harvest couldn’t have been more enjoyable. Congratulations to all who made this possible especially the Mt. Pleasant BIA and the long list of incredible Community Programs we found.  Take a look at all the great times had and some great moments in pictures from this weekends Mt.
