Pukka Restaurant receives visit from Vikram Vij, judge on Chopped Canada and Peter Neal of Neal Brothers Foods


Last night Pukka Restaurant on St. Clair West was host to Vikram Vij owner of Vij’s Restaurant in Vancouver, British Columbia “easily among the finest Indian restaurants in the world” according to Mark Bittman of The New York Times. In addition to Vij’s Restaurant he and Dhalwala Vij’s wife opened a second restaurant Rangoli, and market a line of pre-packaged gourmet curries named “Vij’s Inspired Indian Cuisine” as well as producing cookbooks.  Vij is one of Chopped Canada’s judges in this high stakes culinary competition series where four chefs compete for $10,000.

Peter Neal, owner of Neal Brothers Foods (Left) enjoyed the company of his friends in the once again full restaurant brimming with excited new and returning patrons all enjoying their wonderful dishes.
