Save the Date for the Coming Home to Humewood Annual Gala May 4th, 2017

Please join us for the Coming Home to Humewood annual gala, in support of Humewood House, a place where pregnant teens and young mothers receive the support they need to change their lives.

Founded in 1912, Humewood House, a non-profit registered charity provides a safe and therapeutic environment for young pregnant and parenting women and their children. Humewood offers residential services, life skills training, childcare, education and counseling delivered by a well-trained and dedicated staff. Last year alone, over 400 pregnant teens and young mothers contacted Humewood House for information, brief services and programs.

At our Coming Home to Humewood Gala, come ready to be entertained! Music for the evening will be provided by the jazz and R&B styling of the “Heillig Manoeuvre” featuring their special guest the incomparable Alana Bridgewater and emceed by Jazz FM 91.1’s Juno nominated Heather
Bambrick. There will be a cocktail reception, a key prize for one of the hottest items and make your bids throughout the evening at our Silent Auction for your chance to have any Mazda vehicle for one week. Hear two of our young mothers relate their feelings and experiences with Humewood House and much more.

The Coming Home to Humewood fundraising gala in support of Humewood House takes place on Thursday May 4th, 2017 from 6:30pm – 10:00pm at Snell Hall, St. James Cathedral, 65 Church Street. Early bird tickets are $75, prices go up in April! Tickets are available online at

All proceeds go directly to Humewood House programs.
