When Life Gives You Lemons… Baker and Scone Shares their Classic Lemon Curd Recipe
When life gives you lemons, make Lemon Curd! Baker and Scone loves lemons! Lemon Scones, Lemon Jammies, and Fresh Lemon Curd. You can pickup a jar of their lemon curd or you can make it yourself this summer with their favourite recipe. Serve on toast or scones, or for dessert with berries.

Classic Lemon Curd Recipe
- 24 egg yolks
- 3 cups sugar
- 1/2 Litre of lemon juice
- 2 lemons zested
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/4lbs butter cubed
- Whisk egg yolks and sugar in large pot.
- Add lemon juice, lemon zest and salt.
- Cook over medium heat, scraping down sides and bottom with a spatula until thickened. Stir in butter until incorporated.
Strain and chill.
